it is in the shelter of each other that the people live

In the Shelter is the business partnership between Mark McCleary and Pádraig  Ó Tuama. In the Shelter is a communications partnership that helps groups to work well together through listening and conversations. We are guided by the Irish phrase  ”it is in the shelter of each other that the people live”.

In the Shelter is best described by the work we have done and continue to do.

Pádraig works as a poet, group facilitator, theologian and mediator. He specialises in helping groups navigate difficult conversations and has helped groups discuss violent conflict as well as political, ideological and theological disagreements. He speaks, writes and facilitates conversations on:  diversity in religious texts, LGBT lives and stories, communication, storytelling and the role of arts in public life. Pádraig is on twitter @duanalla

Mark brings 20 years experience working in the media (producing, editing and reporting mostly with the BBC in news, current affairs, religion and ethics programmes). Having studied history and politics at Queens in Belfast, he completed a postgrad  in broadcast journalism at City University in London. Mark neglects twitter at a regular basis @mccmark
